Pros
The Air Force is a great place to work that takes care of its people and offers countless opportunities.
Cons
The archaic enlisted/officer system needs to be revamped. Its based on a very old caste system where officers came from more affluent families or nobility and enlisted where pulled from the proletariat. It may have made sense when the proletariat couldn't read or write, and perhaps, didn't know much about the world at large but in todays economy the affluent generally do not join the military so all the officers and enlisted are pulled from a similar class. At this point our country needs to do what is smart to keep up with the world and picking leaders based on capability rather than a BS degree makes sense to me.
