Pros

Great sense of involvement, ability to work worldwide, good range of options in terms of job role, self accountability in tasks and are trusted to work alone. Time management flexible and generally job is results based. Mgt ability is varied from role to role but the ability to manoevre usually allows ways around this.

Cons

Downsides would be embedded management inertia given the scale of some of the operations, some tasks are simply too huge and have too many contributors to complete quickly. Timescales are traditional IT 'think of a date' and hitting dates are all important. Take over by Thomson may mean change in terms and conditions, pay not too wonderful compared to Banks.

Pros

Good pay, good managers, and minimal micromanagement

Cons

Not great 401k or health insurance options for contractors, but that's par for the course

Pros

Some of the direct Managers and team members but only because everyone sticks together because there constantly change and unclear expectations from upper management.

Cons

*Unclear commissions spread across multiple tracking systems that don't line up including sales done on various salesforce portals. Many teams members gave up trying to track or follow up because we were so busy. *They treat businesses like dollar signs and employees like numbers. *They "laid off" managers on the Tax/Audit team, some who had been with the company for decades and were the most supportive of their teams. *They are focused on buying up other software companies and products without having any protocols or streamlines in place for them, not to mention they still haven't properly done so for acquisitions in the last 5+ years.
