Pros

Los Angeles - Target system so you'll be able to get a bonus every month which close to a grand a month - A lot of work so easy to become experienced with a client-facing role quickly -Coworkers are amazing!!!! The people here are awesome and you will make friends for life 100%! You bond more because of how much the job is trash

Cons

-From associate to project manager there is no salary raise, but you will have 2x the amount of work to do. They raise it after 1 year, but we are still MASSIVELY underpaid compared to what our competitors make -You will not be valued by upper management (AVP in Los Angeles) as she is never satisfied with the work you've completed -You have a monthly points target that if you don't hit they may put you on a PIP (Performance Improvement Program); The account you are overseeing could be breaking quarterly budgets and they still might consider firing you since they play massive favorites -AVP plays favorites; Purposefully gave a failing account to a project manager to get them fired, but they turned the account around and still does not give they any credit, put 2 people in a program to become manager, and hired someone else who was her favorite and not ready for the job, and doesn't interact with anyone (Cuts you off constantly when speaking to her and micromanages projects she can't help with) -They continue to cut different perks that include lowering budgets for our social events once a month, company-provided lunches, etc. -Clients that you work for can say anything/everything without consequence and you have to take it (AVP and managers will not advocate for you and will step in and kiss up to them) because that's how we make money -Training and Development they are currently revamping, but they throw you to the wolves after your week of initial training -Communication: Horrible and communicate important messages over Slack -Incentives: They have this Wednesday power hour where you can get Third Bridge Points if you onboard people; They're stupid and the winner usually gets a couple of dollars and you are scolded even if for the remaining 8 hours there. Makes no sense -Schedule: 9am-6pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm on Friday; 5-6pm almost no productivity comes from that last hour -You don't have to work after hours, but it is STRONGLY hinted that you need to work after hours, so the work-life balance is not very good (Sometimes you're forced to work late in order to just hit target) -Lied about a benefit; I can't get into the specifics, but they shad a program where they said they would help with someones career and once that person hit all the targets they said that program never existed (They announced this to the entirety of project managers at Third Bridge, but they said they never said that) -High high high turnover rate; They will say "The college age group usually has a high turnover rate", but they have lost so many great talents because of the AVP in Los Angeles; They will continue to lose people but once again they don't care -Management does not care AT ALL, Avoid this job and please find something better

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Feedback like this is really helpful so we can examine our practices and consider how they are received by our team. We'd be interested in speaking with you further, so if you're open to that, please consider reaching out at team@thirdbridge.com. Our LA office is one of our smaller offices but serves a critical role in ensuring we can maintain strong relationships with our West Coast clients -- some of whom are our biggest accounts and highest priority growth areas. Having leadership that supports your growth and challenges you is instrumental in driving success which is why we invest a lot of time and coaching into our managers and (A)VPs. Part of their role in leading a team or an office is to be clear about expectations and performance and fair in how they manage their teams and clients. Our values of All Rising Together and Our People Growing go hand in hand to ensure we're not only developing a team that can deliver excellent work but also one that has a clear view of their career trajectory and easy means of providing feedback for their colleagues. We understand that the way we work may not be for everyone, but we find that switching up our days with small competitions, socials, and other opportunities to work differently with one another leads us to be more creative, collaborative and open. Again, thanks for taking the time. We would love to talk more about your experience if you reach us at team@thirdbridge.com.

Pros

Good entry-level opportunity with exposure to fast-paced, client-facing work. The company hires driven, sociable individuals and can be a strong starting point for building communication, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-performance environment.

Cons

High turnover and inconsistent management quality significantly impact the employee experience. Success is heavily dependent on your team lead and manager, with limited recourse if you’re placed under ineffective leadership. In my experience, poor communication, lack of emotional intelligence, and unclear expectations from management made it difficult to succeed and negatively affected day-to-day productivity. Internal processes around performance management and PTO lacked transparency. I was placed on a PIP and terminated shortly after (within a week) in a way that felt abrupt and not aligned with prior communication, which was initially framed as a discussion around pending PTO. There were also delays in PTO approvals, and I experienced issues with compensation adjustments following a promotion that required follow-up to resolve.
