Pros
Work life balance is good. But depends on project and team. JPMC Project is good. Management is good. In TCS, you will have many projects compared to other service based companies. When you are on bench, you can get the project easily as per your domain demand. If you have don't have any salary concern, you can join in TCS. In salary also, there are few components like monthly performance pay, quarterly bonus and retention incentive(for lateral hires only but paid yearly). Basic is very less. This salary structure clearly says to loot employee.
Cons
No WFH. In TCS, I worked in two projects. BOA and JPMC Projects. Boa account is pathetic and you can't take leaves when required and if you take more leaves, they give you less rating. When ratan Tata Sir was there, it was good. We used to get the hikes and everything on time. But after he expired, everything is changed. Hikes percentages have been reduced drastically. Even if they give better hike, your in-hand salary won't increase as you expect. Benefits are not good. Compensation is the only the reason I left TCS.
