Pros

They pay executives very well, especially externals. You really meet some great Team Members and Team Leaders, Not the best benefits, but if your full-time they kick in right away and they are affordable. The 6 week training could be amazing, if your paired with a great trainer. I've seen amazing training happen, unfortunately my trainer was a nightmare.

Cons

WORK LIFE BALANCE, Nasty and disrespectful store director and group leaders. They are a group of people who are okay with working 12+ hour days and coming in on they're days off, so they assume you are too. Executives are required to work 10 hr shifts. They think every other weekend off is "great work life balance" . It sounds great, but by the time you get there, you're burnt out. You have no control over your business or actual Job. When you walk in your told what to do. If ship from store or food and beverage need help, your doing it. If they need carts in the building, your getting them. If the group leaders come and want you to completely purge your backroom, your doing it. No payroll for the hourly team, who is already over worked and have unrealistic responsibilities. So if your Team Members don’t complete their work, which is everyday and your Team Lead is approaching OT, which is everyday, as a salaried executive, your doing it. I was sold a dream when I came here, your really just an overpaid executive and your definitely going to work 55+ hours. Lastly, if your store director does not like you.. sounds immature right? Well a lot of the new store directors are like 25 years old. But if they don’t like you, they will coach you out.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
