Pros

Great TPS Team Members. Really Good sales floor team members. As long as you are kind and courteous to the sales floor team members and your TPS's they will treat you like gold and help you greatly in your daily duties. -My AP Team Lead was awesome in both locations that I worked. -My AP Executive Team Lead was awesome in only one location. -Target has by far the best theft intelligence reporting system in any retail setting and awesome communication between stores in your district, so knowing about booster activity and known subjects helps huge.

Cons

-ETL's regularly don't do their jobs, so the AP Executive Team lead or even AP Team Lead ends up picking up a lot of slack. -Target business culture placates criminals / shoplifters, so you will catch the same people all of the time. -Target values quick buys / impulse buys over keeping their merchandise safe, so they have a high expectation for you to protect millions of dollars worth of merchandise, but won't back you when it comes to safeguarding it (or at least that's what EVERY STL will tell you). -God help you / your job if you get a bad stop. You're better off if you're honest about getting it, but expect that they will drop the hammer on you. It's better to get fired for being honest than get fired and black marked for being a liar.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
