Pros

Free food and drinks. There are no other pros. I'd gladly give up free food for a better job to be happy.

Cons

You get called on your days off to fill in for people who call in sick. You get called on your evenings after a nine hour shift to go help the new staff with closing. You are expected to stay late after almost every shift. You don't get a break when working nine hour shifts. Manager sits on his phone the whole time while you have to serve a line of customers on your own. You get forced to work seven days some weeks and get told you have no choice. I have no time to have a personal life, to study or to do anything. I get a sunday off maybe three weeks out of four because im not allowed having a week day off. Manager keeps trying to convince me that I won't be successful in life if I don't stay with subway. Overall ive become extremely depressed because of this job. Unfortunately I can't just quit because i have to pay rent and bills! This jobs sucks the life out of you!!!

Pros

Very flexible scheduling, especially if your manager is willing to work around all their employees. You usually get a 50% discount that you can use once a day too.

Cons

Direct district management at this location does not know how to manage people. He will not really do anything to help or assist until his supervisors look into his stores and what he does. He will shift blame onto any general manager he can, and if any district manager decides you are doing your job incorrectly or you need to adjust what you are doing, there will be little to no support in helping you become a better employee. It really can become a "popularity contest" when you work in store management. If you are a regular employee or shift lead, you won't really have any direct contact with district management.
