Pros

If you're a junior consultant wanting to get a taste of management consulting then Sia might not be a bad place to start

Cons

This is NOT a professional services/ management consulting firm rather a firm that provides Staff Augmentation services disguised as management consulting. Sia Partners does not have capabilities and delivery structures that are typically well designed for consultants to perform good client delivery work. No one can explain the firm's branding of 'Consulting for Good' to Clients, who often make fun of the company and its consultants. The company is HQ'd in France with its leadership team imposing french (and EU) practices across offices in other countries. The US Leadership team is NOT top-quality - almost all are sales people with relationships with clients executives helping place people for roles that are open at client organizations (a.k.a staff augmentation). If you're looking to build a career and/or do quality client work that is expected from a professional services business then this is NOT a place to work. Salaries are below market level. Culture is OK. Perks are terrible and the firm is cheap. The firm offers a yearly offsite for employees at a nice location but requires 'two employees' to share 'one' room, except Partners/MDs.

Pros

Coworkers are nice and some managers are supportive

Cons

Low pay and the way year-end reviews are done is ajoke. Going above and beyond at this company means having to work 5-9 after your 9-5. They expect you to have no life for measly pay. Turn over rate is high. Offices are disjointed. Leadership are having "benchmarking" contests left and right for sales. Anyway good people are leaving this company because honestly, they expect you to just grind it out without the pay of a big tier firm. Gender diversity is also seriously lacking at the top.
