Pros

The gratis is amazing, the discount is also equally amazing, work/life balance is respected. Brand Training, makeup application, room for growth, experience to be made, lifelong friends to be made, great networking connections with other brands.

Cons

I think its only in my store but we dont have our own brush belts, 2yrs with the company and I still have not been to any SOS or any formal Sephora training. Favoritism, management not listening to employees, rude store director, lies about availability of certain positions. In the past 2 yrs I have worked at Sephora, numerous people have quit and 4 LEADS have quit!!!

Pros

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
