Pros

3 samples of whatever product you would like on the days you work. flexibility scheduling . Training on products from sales reps occasionally . Helping clients find the products they need could be a rewarding feeling.

Cons

some Gratis(free product) but not as much as i would think ,sometimes stuff that i don't want. Getting searched at the end of your shift is the most humiliating thing. The management has me turn every pocket inside out after i clock out, this can take at least 5 minutes when you are trying to go home and this is on your time.

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
