Nothing special - Cosmetic Sales Makeup Artist Sephora Employee Review

Inconsistent hours and when it comes holiday time you're lucky if you get 12hrs a week. For some reason Sephora thinks that they should hire a bunch of seasonals. Which leaves no hours for any of what Sephora likes to call "core cast." Management is God awful. They trained managers to be like kindergarten teachers. You have to tell them where you're going any time you move. Even just to go to the bathroom real quick. They tell us "it's for your safety." Oh give me a break! It's just another way to micromanage us. It makes for a very annoying work environment.
