Pros

Gratis Bonus Benefits (for some part timers) Some stores that have fun and genuinely friendly managers are great to work in

Cons

Work hours - If you kiss up to your boss you get the hours you want to work, if not they tell you that the computer generates the schedule and that they need you to work those hours and nothing can be done. Management - most of the leadership team are brought in from other companies and lack knowledge of products and are basically useless to help clients on the sales floor. When a situation comes up, they seem to really listen to you but will not do anything about it. Favoritism - be the managers eyes and ears (SNITCH) to the store and you can have a chance to move up within the company. Communication - lack of communication to entire team about upcoming news, policy changes and proper ways to handle proper cash register situations.

Pros

+ monthly training gratis + brand and product training + exposure to working with luxury brands + technology device supplements role

Cons

- unstable hours / unstable income - part-time employee classification has a wide weekly hourly gap (e.g., 15-29 weekly hours) and the availability expectation is that of a full-time (e.g., required to be open 4-5 a week, open to close) - minimal career growth if wanting to become full-time within the same store
