Pros

- Amazing SOS training - Lots of gratis - Great team - A lot of breaks in one shift - Get to play with makeup all the time - Comfy costumes - High energy

Cons

- Micromanagement - Supervisor changes EVERY hour (gets super confusing) - Theme days (Long time to get ready) - Most tiring retail job that I've ever had! - Long hours (4 hour shifts don't exist) - Weekend job - Too many rules for employees - Feels like you're annoying the hell out of every client - Change of worlds not common enough

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
