      Pros

      Gratis and good coworkers were the only reasons I stayed.

      I worked at Sephora for about 4 years and recently it has gone downhill. They expect so much for little pay. They want you to dedicate your whole life to them but give little in return.

      Cons

      - unstable hours / unstable income - part-time employee classification has a wide weekly hourly gap (e.g., 15-29 weekly hours) and the availability expectation is that of a full-time (e.g., required to be open 4-5 a week, open to close) - minimal career growth if wanting to become full-time within the same store
