Pros

Health care, days off, annual bonus

Cons

SAP has undergone significant changes in recent years, and it is disheartening to witness the deterioration of its culture, once known for its positive environment and respect for employees. Unfortunately, the departure of many valued leaders has led to a shift towards a management style that undervalues its workforce. Employees are now subject to unrealistic expectations and pressure to meet stakeholder goals, resulting in a toxic environment where salary cuts, reduced benefits, and limited promotion opportunities are commonplace. As a result, many employees are seeking opportunities elsewhere or disengaging from their work. Transparency is lacking, and even employees with outstanding performance records struggle to find advancement opportunities. Management appears solely focused on cost-cutting measures, often at the expense of employee well-being. Additionally, the promotion of inexperienced individuals to management positions has further exacerbated the lack of respect within the organization. The toxic atmosphere is taking a toll on employees' mental health, transforming SAP from a once desirable workplace into a challenging environment to navigate. Additionally, the decision to mandate a return to the office is another troubling development that contributes to employee dissatisfaction. This policy not only disregards the preferences and well-being of employees but also serves as a covert tactic to encourage resignations without providing appropriate severance packages. It's a disappointing and unfair approach, especially considering the dedication and contributions of employees over the years.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
