Pros

Some people had been working there for decades, and it made the environment very firendly and cosy. Some people were able to move up the ladder, too. Internal small get-togethers, celebrations, etc., were very common. Sometimes the staff/company also did that and brought in food/made small shows of appreciation. Fun yearly party. Working with a lot of interntional people with similar interests (generally languages).

Cons

If you're an aspiring translator, you can begin work here but don't expect to be promoted to one. The in-house translators are very good but they keep their role for many years, and there were dozens of (younger, less experienced) people who wanted those jobs, but had to work as correcters. When I worked there management was terrible. The CEO changed, our manager changed 3 times in a year, as everything moved to centralisation from the US. Our small department received very little training, all online, and our jobs changed from QA Editors to project coordinators whithout any change in salary, but many changes to our responsibilities, type of work, and demands. This meant a lot of stress and overtime, with little support. In particular a manager they hired who supposedly had a lot of experience was terrible at the personal and professional level. Did not know anything of the trade and made no effort to learn, would not listen to experienced people, and drove several people away from the team who had been there for many years. She was eventually fired, but watch out for middle management.

Pros

Excellent place to gain hands-on experience with AI/ML training data workflows. The project guidelines are very clear and structured.

Cons

The work is highly repetitive and sitting for long hours requires deep focus. Deadlines are tight with strict weekly accuracy quotas.
