      Pros

      PPG is a large enough company for you do do different funcitons during you career. You can also get the perspectives of a range of other professionals. PPG also offers great work life balance, especially in IT.

      Cons

      The compensation at PPG could be both more merit based and overall higher. Software is treat like an expense so there can be motiveation issues if you are really into developing software. IT infrstructure is treat well though.

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
