Pros
Work life balance. If you are the one who doesnt bother hike growth in career only loves enjoying life then be there. People easily escape work and survive happily . In standups only 420 no actual work and nobody bothers. Managers rate based on your rappo with team and him , performance at work is at back seat always. Only team building is important team lunch, bday parties, festivals etc ... If you want you can learn hell lot from their learning links etc.
Cons
Politics plays an important role in hikes. You wont be valued if you contribute technically significantly but if you are very nicely gelling with all and good at playing politics, flattering leads and managers , verry good rapo with leads/ managers , then you are eligible for promotion . So they call this flattering/ politics as "HOW" part of appraisal. No need to contribute technically to get hikes or promotions. All the design and implementation and major contribution elsewhere but not in bangalore definitely. Its all bug fixing or maintenance.
