Good training and team potential, but poor pay and cliques - Duty Manager Marriott International Employee Review

Due to the location of Aberdeen, felt quite disconnected from central belt and routes to progression blocked by my manager. There was a clique environment and resistance to new ideas or change. Pay was very poor for what you were expected to do, and high performance was never fully appreciated by management. When I transitioned to another department, training was not given, I was openly told I was not right person for the job and left to fail.
