Pros

Really enjoyed working at Mango. It was funny while it lasted. I was made to feel really welcome by everyone. It was enough to make me wake up in the afternoon, but on weekends when the weather was nice it was really hard to go in. My heart just wasn't in it. I'll miss it a little bit though.

Cons

I was the only male employee on the shop floor so I was constantly fighting off millions of shoplifters and finding thousands of stray children, as once the sales started women would lose their minds over a £9.99 dress and forget they actually had children. Staff retention wasn't great as some people just couldn't take the heat. It got so bad that bets were placed on how long newcomers would last =D

Pros

Base pay and commission opportunities for sale associates.

Cons

-Upper management is disorganized. There seems to be no clear guidelines, training or support for stores to succeed. - Outdated system (From early 2000s… feels like coding) that limits mangers and associates from providing exceptional service. - Foot traffic is extremely low and is impossible to meet daily KPI goals. -Extremely high turner over rate! Feels like constantly working 3 person job alone because people are quitting so often. - Constantly dealing with frustrated customers who have been waiting 1+ month for their online order to arrive.
