Pros

good pay for retail reliable contracted hours customers are probably the high point great products employee benefits/discount is pretty solid

Cons

I witnessed and endured so much bullying and manipulation from both middle and upper management that it has left me mentally drained still over a year on. I was publicly ridiculed by managers and also dragged into meetings over my conduct that were completely fabricated. The pressure to sell is far too great that they literally force you to sell people things that they don't need and also to approach/harass customers which is actually embarrassing. The feedback loop used is completely closed and if you try to give any to management they will just weaponise it against you in your 'areas of opportunity' not sensitive to individuals home situations as I have seen them penalizing staff who are facing hardships that they have clearly communicated with management. had, on numerous occasions, forced me to give ultimatums to staff members who needed just a shred of compassion. Refused to help staff who were struggling with various mental health issues.

Pros

Excellent inclusive company culture, employee discount, learning about natural ingredients for skincare, genuinely great and engaged team members, flexible work schedule for part time or casual positions.

Cons

High amount of work, unreasonable "evidence driven" feedback and coaching models, and unrealistic performance metrics for comically low pay, especially for floor coordinators. No additional pay given for specialty roles, which is many enhanced responsibilities over a specific area of the business, and little opportunity for career growth beyond the sales floor unless you are hired from an external management position. Floor Coordinator seems to be the highest rung most people can hit before being driven elsewhere.
