Pros
You get a breadth of experiences in a short time while learning all facets of business operations. The program allows you to try out many different job positions you otherwise wouldn't have an opportunity to do. I spent the full two years working in the Fort Worth, TX Aeronautics facility and feel very fortunate. The F-35 Program is thriving and cool to be a part of.
Cons
The new program has full 1 year rotations without an elective. When rotating different business units it is a political game to get the positions you want. Some rotations you will not enjoy. It is part of discovering what jobs you would actually like off program.
