Pros

It's an incredible place to work - I can't see myself working anywhere else. The culture is unlike anywhere else I know, fun, friendly, we don't go in for hierarchy very much, everyone is valued for their contributions and really encouraged to be themselves, to be authentic. The company focuses on mental health and wellbeing and I feel genuinely cared for. I love what I do - I feel I'm making a difference and the job is very varied, fast paced, never boring! But it's the people that make KFC what it is. I'm surrounded by super smart people that inspire me daily, but also they're just nice! I haven't come across anyone yet that I wouldn't want to grab a beer with. If you're looking to join a high performing team where you can grow your career but also be truly cared for - this is the place.

Cons

It's not an easy job - we all work very hard. But it's perfect for anyone who is willing to get stuck in and work as part of the team.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
