Pros

Easy job Free food Not a lot of rules so quite chill Some of the assistant managers are quite chill and try to help you, when I had any issues or there was worries about my safety they’d speak to me straight away- not as a manager but as an actual person. Easy to work up through positions within the store, but not head office.

Cons

Sexual harassment & poor dealing with sexual harassment Poor management/didn’t have a manager most of the time I was there A lot of drama created by older employees Sexist af Really toxic environment for young girls, you basically get either talked down to or groped the entire time you’re working there Three months in I was teaching others how to use tills/just eat when it was just me on till on Christmas Eve, it was genuinely horrific.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
