Pros

Good Company. Excellent safety culture. Some training opportunities. This was a pleasant location to be assigned. We were on-site contractor (62 employees, this site) to GSK, huge manicured campus with very nice modern facilities -- decent cubicles and work shops, good equipment, comfortable furniture, IT staff on call, so few computer issues, good cafeterias. Most customers (GSK) and other contractors were fine to work with, managers treated us well and showed appreciation, and teams functioned well.

Cons

Salaries not great. Little opportunity for advancement. Lots of mgmt turnover. Employees often felt superior performance or extra effort not acknowledged / rewarded. Occasionally GSK employees- our customers- were treated contractors poorly, and you needed to be very careful not to upset them because that could threaten your job.
