Pros

Pooled commission 1% and 3% individual commission on some departments. Pooled commission to keep things "family" like and less aggressive.

Cons

Corporate culture of a family like company and promoting within is all a facade that you will fall for until you really open your eyes. Too many games being played between management and sales associates and between sales associates and clients. The requirementsof clients to buy in order to be considered by management to buy other stuff is a major headache. Chinese associates and Chinese clients run and produce most the business there and the English speaking managers turn a shy eye to all the unfortunate and shady deals going on to purchase more "exclusive" and limited items.

Cons

Managers will not help you, you are left to figure out things on your own. You’re expected to know or read their minds. Terrible work life balance. Managers don’t respect your time. Truly the worst I’ve ever been treated
