Pros
HCL thrusts responsibility on anyone willing to step up to the mark. If you want to stretch yourself HCL is a great employer - just don't expect any compensation difference between you and your more relaxed colleagues.
Cons
No reward for good service - all bonuses and status hikes are awarded across the board based on experience and not performance or capability. The useless get promoted and the talented leave exacerbating the issue.
