- One of the most toxic work environments I've ever experienced - Leadership is completely disconnected from reality and has no understanding of the day-to-day challenges employees face - Constant talk about "culture" and "values," but the actual culture is built on fear, favoritism, politics, and blame - Promotions often seem based on who you know rather than what you accomplish - Some managers will wreck employees reputation instead of taking responsibility - Priorities change constantly, creating confusion, wasted effort, and frustration - Recognition is almost nonexistent - Employees are frequently expected to take on additional responsibilities without additional compensation - New hires are often sold a vision during the interview process that bears little resemblance to reality - The company talks about employee well-being while actively creating conditions that lead to stress and disengagement - People spend more time managing internal politics than doing meaningful work
