      Pros

      Good salaries and benefits. Opportunities to move inside organization. Secondments and cross-training opportunities for more junior stuff.

      Cons

      Basically no promotions without changing role or place. Few carrier development options if you are an individual contributor (no matter how talented and valuable you are) and don’t consider to become a manager or switch to PM work. Technical/development/research talent has limited growth carrier path, if they want to continue to do technical work and not became a manager or PM. Employees are overworked and stressed

      Slow, too much processes and paperwork, company wants to accelerate, but current processes makes it impossible to accelerate.
