Pros

benefits, company car, pension, nothing else

Cons

Group incentive packages, and out right age discrimination, that you can't prove. They will write you up and force you out, if you are over 40 years old, even if you always performed in the past. I got a new manager, I had moved my territory 60 ranking points above my peers in two quarters, with a brand new territory, and brand new drugs. The same day those numbers came out and I was at 140% of goal, they allowed my manager, who used to fall down drunk at sales meetings, who was having an affair with someone in our region,( to the point that everyone could hear them at national sales meetings in hotels) to write me up and say that I didn't know how to sell. He would smell like alcohol in the AM when I picked him up at his hotel for a ride along, and then he would have me drop him off at Starbucks for a couple hours at lunch, and he would get back in my car to go on two more calls before he quit everyday at 3, smelling like cigarette's. Very nice to have to bring in your offices when the doctors can smell alcohol and cigarette's on him. He had even been written up for his behavior before, but I was the one who got pushed out.
