Opportunity to work on large transactions with global reach. GE experience maybe valued outside GE.
Cons
Forced ranking remains part of the culture. This creates an enviornment that fosters intense workloads with no meaningfull support from colleagues or management. No practical direction is provided along the way, other than the directive to get the job done. Easy to find yourself over extended with projects that have been thrown over the wall by middle management.. These tactics breed a culture of silos and a lack of cooperation in order to avoid even more demands beyond what is realistic.
