Pros
As an entry level position, the best reason to work for GE is for experience and to "Punch your Card" with a Fortune 50 Company. If you don't mind moving, working weekends, traveling, politicizing, etc. it can be tolerable. It's a good place to get practice advertising yourself and your accomplishments -- if you don't, you're history. Plenty of opportunities for properly connected people willing to make sacrifices for their career.
Cons
The pay is lower than comparable employers. The political side is ridiculous. GE engages in some borderline ethical practices. You will not EVER be able to take all your time off -- EVER.
