Pros

It is a remote position and you work from home.

Cons

The micromanagement at this company is overwhelming and counterproductive. It's important to be cautious, as the work environment can feel unsupportive and at times, questionable. My advice would be to gain the experience you can and explore opportunities with a more reputable and employee-focused organization. The training provided is subpar, with an expectation to learn primarily during live production, which can be stressful and inefficient. Additionally, the workload includes back-to-back calls with little room for error, and the disciplinary system feels overly strict, with instances of exaggerated or fabricated issues being documented.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
