Pros

Working from home Monday to Friday with weekends off. Steady income.

Cons

No options for taking unpaid time off. For example I plan 2 trips a year that are at least a week long and it's a struggle to plan for. I usually use my vacation hours for days off for appointments and I don't have enough to allocate to the full week. I usually need to pay for a doctors note to go away for my week off. It's absurd! Benefits are not very good, you get about 300$ per year for things like chiropractor and massage which doesn't go far. Medication are covered usually at 80%. Dental only covers necessary dental procedures and a root canal is not included in what they consider necessary same for most dental work mostly cleaning and possibly cavities are covered at a percentage.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
