Pros

The company has a very friendly and welcoming environment. The local coworkers and managers are incredibly kind and always go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. They create a positive and supportive atmosphere that makes it enjoyable to come to work each day. I have been particularly impressed by their willingness to help and support their colleagues, and by the sense of community that exists within the company. Overall, I am extremely grateful to be part of such a wonderful team and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a positive and supportive work environment.

Cons

It is unfortunate to see that the company does not prioritize employee growth and development, despite their claims to the contrary. As a private company, they are not accountable to shareholders and therefore may not feel the need to invest in their employees. This lack of focus on professional development makes the company an unappealing option for those looking to invest in their careers. Additionally, the lack of emphasis on employee growth and development raises legitimate concerns about the company's overall supportiveness and positivity.

Thank-you for your candor. I agree that Sitel is very welcoming and we are passionate about taking care of our Sitel Group community. I personally have found the opposite to be true, and been promoted throughout my time here. I would encourage you to reach out to your manager and/or coach and ask to be notified of any upcoming growth opportunities. You can also check on MaxConnect (our internal intranet)and see if there are any open positions that might allow you to grow within the company.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
