Pros

Good first job if your not looking to move up, can pay ok if on a good campaign.

Cons

Pay usually is below the average for this type of job. You are treated as a number even when you become a coach (supervisor). All they care about is metrics and feel that if they cater food once a month that makes them people first. The site director holds grudges and can halt your career because of it. As a supervisor I can tell you that how the campaigns are ran is reactive to issues not proactive to preventing them. OMs will lie to make themselves look good. There is very bad communication in manegement and most dont do their jobs, leaving many agents without help. They will keep bad agents just so we don't look bad with our attrition. I could go on and on about how badly this place is ran, but I hope the above is enough.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
