Pros
Easy job to get if they are hiring. Decent benefits. You will get good experience. It is possible to move up the ladder there if that is what you want. Be nice to your customers, they are all prospective employers.
Cons
They expect you to do an impossible amount of work with a skeleton crew and minimal resources. The pay is very low. It is very stressful. The customers are under a lot of pressure and are very demanding due to deadlines or whatever so they will take it out on you. The employees are under a lot of pressure so that will also make the working enviornment unpleasent. Depending on your management you may or may not be appreciated for your efforts, but they will notice when you screw up.There are a lot of detailed and pointless rules and procedures you must follow and you will get written up for minor errors. They change the rules and procedures every week. Training is poor. If you know what you are doing, you will probably carrie most of the weight on your shift (you will have to do everything). I've seen a lot of people walk off the job . Fedex burocracy does not care about its employees at all. You can be easily replaced, but they probably won't replace you. The store will just be short one more person when you get fired/quit.
