Pros
The performance testing done here is much more in-depth than anywhere else I've heard, as we have ownership of performance testing across the entire product and are also the owners of reporting and root cause analysis. This means that the team is constantly learning new skills, technology stacks, and testing strategies. The office here also has a great culture, especially for an Australian office. The lunch events are well organised and catered, making sure there's enough food for everyone, vegetarians included. And the after-work events often have unofficial afterparties. 2 days in the office a week also seems reasonable compared to other offices.
Cons
Work is full steam ahead, which means that testing is under pressure to keep up, so it is a full-on workload. And with us being the owners of many parts, it means we are also required for a lot of work and information. As this is an international company, there are times when we have to join calls at night.
