      The industry is consolidating, and practices are left with few choices in the wholesale space. EssilorLuxottica gets plenty of business by default. Direct deposit.

      Cons

      Offshoring production will increase turnaround time, with no benefit to patients. Management once sent me a directive to outsource my own job. I didn't do that.

      EssilorLuxottica offers solid benefits, including good health insurance, PTO, and other employee benefits. There are also remote opportunities available, which can be a big advantage for work-life balance.

      Cons

      The company has gone through mergers that have made some roles more difficult and less clear. There does not seem to be much encouragement for growth or career development. Applying for internal positions can also be challenging, especially if you do not have support or guidance from your manager.
