Pros

Great work life balance dats it, will help if you want to prepare for CAT or other exams...

Cons

Quite a few: 1. Salary growth is low. Starting pay package is less and you can FORGET the so called performance bonus you had been promised during campus recruitment... You will NOT get it. 2. The work what I was doing as a GET is the same work a guy with 7-8 years work experience will be doing.... In short there is practically no growth or change in responsibilities as you get promoted(Only the designation will change) 3. The entire work is just report generation from Internal tools and you will just work on Excel sheets full time. 4. If you have technical mindset and have been a high achiever you will feel claustrophobic here. 5. The senior guys working with you have only field engineering (FE)experience and for them joining Ericsson was a dream come true as they all used to work before in contract/ off role profiles. In short you will find them too dumb if you have a NIT/IIT back ground. 6. If u can maintain a good rapport with your manager then you could get a decent rating else he is definitely(I reemphasize DEFINITELY ) gonna screw you with the rating as they need to follow the BELL CURVE CONCEPT in ratings. 7.If you get allotted the night shift project then your life is pretty much screwed as the night shift is PERMANENT then onwards.Initially you will enjoy it(as college passout), but later on you will regret it 8.Switching options are pathetic.

Pros

-Technological superior to most other companies with use of AI and promising future tech/programs -benefits and pay are very competetive -room for professional growth and advancement if you know how to work in a corporate environment -resume development and professional advancement

Cons

-leadership ideology doesnt match the company/CEOs mission statement or belief (company is said to be all for safety yet leaders get put in charge and quickly dismantle and lay off 3 quarters of the safety department) -Leadership changes structure to benefit themselves by having all support functions report to them instead of the CEO, this ensures all support functions take a back seat to production and financial gain to include their employees well being -Company restructured and reorganizes very often while showing no loyalty to the employees who work hard and want to stay, this leads to turn over of great employees.
