Pros
* Great teams * Some good managers * Could be a lot of oppertunities for growth here if allowed to do so * Yearly bonus isn't too bad but could be a lot better.
Cons
* HR - Constant battle for any assistance or information. Makes it look like managers are the problem but most of the time its the lack of support from areas of the business like HR and the multiple levels of management that have to sign something off that cause us to not be able to get back to team members in a reasonable amount of time. * Leadership - Outdated and archaic when it comes to some of its policies and practices. Will go out of its way to justify policies by working through 10 reports that say we should do something to find the first one that says its no good for the business e.g. work from home. * Simple decisions have to go through multiple layers of managment. These managers have no understanding of what they are really saying yes or no to and what impact it has. We can right the best business case out there, we are still met with pushback from people who don't understand the impact of refusing something essential. * Pay disparity. There are so many people being underpaid in this business. Experience and location aside, there are some massive gaps across the organisation that just can't be justified when comparing like for like jobs. * No action taken against managers who act inappropriately and bully staff. * Benefits that can't actually be used when it comes to wanting to explore using them. * Leadership seem to think (and actually stated in a company meeting word for word) that we "should be honored" that they pulled the business together for a company meeting. * Very clear that some areas of the business are very valued and others, that are extremely important to the businesses success are just ignored and never rewarded for their work bar the benefits the whole company receive. Like most businesses, those that sell or develop are seen as the backbone of the company - No Infrastructure/Support/Professional services, no customers to sell to and customers will leave.
