      The exposure to projects of different types as well as interdisciplinary exposure in an engineering firm

      Cons

      Politics within the team and difficult to break in. Redundancy of role even with ongoing work. If the pipeline of work is lower and your salary is on the higher end you risk being laid off. Layoff without notice only called into the office asked to hand over all IT equipment and placed on garden leave.

      Pros

      Lower and middle management does their best, but their efforts are generally limited completely by the corporate culture of profit over everything.

      Cons

      BLN used to be a small, family owned firm but now after several mergers and acquisitions, it's essentially a French-owned Blackrock type firm.
