Pros

Working from home is nice.

Cons

When I say that I could make more money working as a dishwasher in a local restaurant please understand that's not an exaggeration or an insult to kitchen staff. I verified that current job listings for entry level positions at local business's have higher pay scales than what I make now. Which, considering I have well over five years experience working for the company, do not hold an entry level position, and have been told multiple times by leadership that I'm one of their most valuable employees, should indicate precisely how unequitable the pay is. And to be clear, I had to counter aggressively in order to get the pay I have now. The company had every intention of paying less.

Pros

Great PTO benefits, very flexible.

Cons

There are certainly favorites among leadership. If you are on management's good side, you may see opportunities that others won't. Most internal promotions are decided before the job even posts, they just have to go through the formalities of posting/interviewing.
