Pros

Career Advancement is encouraged from all levels of the company. Upper management runs a glass house to ensure that all can see the operations of the company. Communication is good.

Cons

Work life balance is somewhat ignored. Pay for lower level jobs not quite up to market standards. Company has reduced benefits with changing it's sales compensation structure. Increased the cost of health insurance, took away employee stock plan. Current market conditions are making it tough on Dell right now. Company recently announced 8000 layoffs globally. Considering it is primarily a commodities company, the current economic situation may not pose well for Dell.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
