Pros

- Work from home, enjoy the comfort of the couch - Management is rather responsive - Starting pay is moderate, with promotions that can raise your pay. Promotions happen semi frequently. Don't expect them every week, but I felt like I was learning something new every couple months and getting pay increases - Work equipment is provided, no personal equipment needed - Good benefits

Cons

- Its customer service and the day to day can start to wear on you. The reality is that customers are buying expensive products, and sometimes they are not satisfied, upset, or irate. - When promotions were offered to me, it felt like they didn't really cover the extent and nature of the work I would be doing. They will try to sweet talk you into it with money. Aim to be level 1 Tech and Mac trained if you want to have a fair amount of money while also preserving your sanity. I was level 2 iOS Tech and Mac trained and we were the ones that would have to tell customers no to their requests and take on the hard calls. If you want to transition into other roles, you must get through this role, and it is one of the hard roles metrics wise. You cannot go back to previous levels. - Two of the main roles (Tech support and Billing) recently merged, but pay increases were not offered. This is a whole additional system to learn. This trend may continue. - You must keep track of your hours worked. Conduent is not responsible for inaccuracies on your time card. They will try to help if you catch it shortly after, but if it is too long after they may not be able to help you recover lost wages. - Managers get swapped at random, putting you into a new team with different vibes. Some managers will be more like silent observers and others will be very involved. - Shift bids are random and seniority based, there were many meetings where they would say one was coming and fast forward 4 months later there was still no bid. It is possible to get stuck with a bad schedule like a split.

Pros

Work from home , convenient

Cons

The way they fire you for no reason; and than block you from emailing them, messaging them or anything without warning! I worked there for 2 years and I had asked to switch supervisors , because the new one I had was very rude and put down everyone. Well the week after I asked to be moved; shelve wrote me up 3 times in one week, which is cause for termination. One of the writeups was because she said I should have offered a customer an email at the end of the call! They are scandalous and I would not recommend to anyone to work for them. If the client: who’s name starts with an A and ends in with E… should not tolerate they way they are representing them!
