Original Claim vs. Personal Experience
While Compass advertises “Career development opportunities – Compass is committed to progression and helping you take the next step in your career,” my personal experience has been quite different.
In reality, I’ve found that career growth is not genuinely supported. Employees are generally expected to stick strictly to the roles they were hired for, with little encouragement or opportunity to explore other paths. Only a very small percentage perhaps 1–2% seem to advance,
Despite requesting constructive feedback and training for other positions, these requests were never acknowledged or acted upon. If career development were truly offered fairly, such support would be accessible to all, not just a select few.
