Pros

- Many would say free breakfast and lunch, but I rather we didn't have it, it encourages over-eating and unhealthy eating, it feels like a prison meal to me. Instead, I would rather have a salary increase in line with inflation figures than breadcrumbs. - There is potential for great growth as a business if things are done better.

Cons

- Forcing a change from 2 days to 3 days mandatory office presence days ignoring what employees prefer, and the environment that makes each person at its best performance (for me, it's not in the office where there are distractions and waste of time in commute and its expenses). - Crowded office and desks, and planning to add more they say ahead of 3 days office attendance enforcement. - Expectation to do more than your working hours, if you can just sleep and work over 12 hours a day, you are probably just "doing fine". - Talented people are leaving, looking for better employers that can respect their humanity, offer flexible/trust-based work, less office politics and exercise hierarchy control, job stability where there are no silent massive layoffs, and better pay. - Presence of some bullies that know well how to steal credit for other people's efforts and get congratulations from upper management (like those using a VP title where they are not VP).

Thank you for your feedback. We know April was a difficult month for employees who didn’t share our office-first hybrid work sentiment. Now that we’re settling into our new working model, we believe that two days of home-based work balanced with the in-office benefits to office culture, team productivity, and merchant service is the right thing. On your other points, bullies have no home at Checkout.com, and people who witness this behavior are asked to speak up to their HR Business Partner to ensure our company remains a psychologically safe and supportive workplace.

Pros

Good salary, thats about it

Cons

Toxic work culture, they want you to work from 6 am to 9pm. If you do not speak french or are not french you will feel like an outsider. Favoritism is big here, manager have their favorites and will feed them inbounds. Very hard to get approval to go to conferences, and there is no ROI, longer reps hold on to bigger name merchants for years even though they are not having any impact, and no one does anything about it.
