Pros

- Pride to work for a company that remains extremely exigent with the development and quality of its products - Ultraconsistent brand image and strategy worldwide and across touchpoints, clear bias towards preservation of brand image and desirability (vs business opportunities /following trends at all costs) throughout the organization. Feeling that the brand will stand still whatever the context. - Deliberate support of work-life balance and fair sharing of benefits (annual share of company revenue given to employees, access to other benefits like private sales, etc.) - Very human-centered approach in communication, collaboration and deliberation on projects

Cons

- Brand and employees working for it are often too self-centered, also because a lot of people have only worked for CHANEL in their careers - Focus given to creation and image makes business roles less strategic - Innovation and individual enterprise very little encouraged across the organization - Overreliance on temporary employees, even at jobs that would require continuity - Pay is below industry standards, yet benefits do not pay for rent or morgages :( - Processes and deliberation are very slow

not a great management so down to low penny and dimes for every project
