Pros
1. Good for freshers (only those who did not get any other job during campus interviews). 2. Good for engineers from ECE. 3. Good for people who want to safely stay in a company life-long no matter how much the company pays or what opportunities the company provides. 4. Good/Bad work-life balance depends on your manager & BU. So never trust any review when it says good work-life balance or bad work-life balance. Its not in the employee's control. 5. Ideal for people who can radically adjust/shift to any situation (Situation = domain, type of work i.e. Dev or Test). 6. Good transport facility when you stay late in office.
Cons
No cons as such apart from :- 1. Underpaying employees 2. Mass firing. 3. Playing politics during hike & promotions (not all managers & BUs are the same though) 4. Painting a very rosy picture about the project when a person joins it. 5. Very few good managers/leaders (many of them have left, some are in the process of leaving) 6. Reviews are just for a show. Rating gets decided long before. 7. Continuous lies from every person in management.
