Pros

No Pros. Just think twice before you take the offer. You will be useless as soon as you are off the project and management cant get any new business

Cons

New Management hired is least bothered and not at all capable of gaining any new business/projects. They are just busy in laying off the people who have served the company to best. Does not look like that the management want to run the company. But looks like they want to close down the company.

Capco Response
6y
Far from looking to close the Company, all leaders at Capco are working very hard to protect the firm and our people in the face of a difficult global crisis. Our leaders remain committed to protecting the firm by identifying business development opportunities and winning new work, even where a market is in lock-down. We also remain committed to following the advice, guidance and practices of the WHO, Governments and health authorities to protect the welfare of our people. So far, we have used our rapid response to the crisis and new way of remote working to demonstrate our capacity to clients and help them manage their businesses. We have been very clear that that the firm remains open for business and committed to working in close partnership with clients so they achieve their goals. We can provide the skills and capabilities necessary to achieve objectives and adopt working practices and approaches that mirror their own. Right across the firm we are focused on securing the future of Capco and protecting our people and we ask all staff to join us in these efforts and contribute to our success. Now more than ever is the time to embrace our inclusive culture, get involved and work together.

Pros

Varied client work — Different clients and project types, which keeps things interesting. Real project mobility — You can move between projects when you advocate for yourself (within reason). Approachable leadership — Senior leaders are open to conversations if you reach out. Good development resources — Plenty of training and growth opportunities if you take advantage of them. Strong teams — Colleagues are smart, capable, and great to work with. Entrepreneurial environment — New ideas are encouraged, and there’s room to take initiative.

Cons

Long hours vary by project — Like most any professional job, some engagements require extended hours for prolonged periods, but work–life balance really depends on the client and team. Additional internal responsibilities — Depending on level, there can be a significant amount of firm‑support work outside of client delivery. Domain alignment not guaranteed — You may not always be staffed on projects that match your domain expertise. Coaching alignment constraints — Coaching relationships are tied to domain, which limits flexibility in choosing formal mentors. Long engagements (sometimes) — Some projects run for long durations or through multiple extensions. It can provides stability but may reduce variety in client and project experience depending on what you’re looking for.
